Ruth-Ann Nieuwesteeg is a lifelong Niagara Falls resident, successful business owner, and dedicated community leader. For over 25 years, her family and Ruth-Ann have owned and operated Patterson Funeral Home, reinforcing her deep commitment to serving local families.
Passionate about revitalizing her community, Ruth-Ann played a key role in improving the Main and Ferry business district as Chair of the Business Improvement Association. Her leadership secured infrastructure investments, supported small businesses, and expanded cultural spaces like the Niagara Falls History Museum.
A strong advocate for local healthcare, she served as Chair of the Greater Niagara Hospital Foundation and led efforts to unite hospital foundations to enhance healthcare services. Her dedication extends to organizations like Family and Children’s Services Niagara and Rotary, earning her a Paul Harris Fellowship.
As part of the Ontario PC team, Ruth-Ann will work to keep taxes low, improve healthcare, and invest in local businesses to build a stronger, more prosperous Niagara Falls.
